Executive Director, Business Development
Shotaro Sese joined Pemberton in June 2026 as Executive Director, Business Development, to help launch Pemberton’s Japan office.
Prior to joining Pemberton, Shotaro served as Head of Alternative Investments at Sony Bank. During his tenure, he expanded debt investment allocations across direct lending, infrastructure, and real estate, while successfully launching a new private equity program.
Previously, he spent over a decade at two asset management firms, driving product management and institutional sales initiatives. He began his career in April 2008 at Nomura Securities, where he provided asset allocation consulting services to domestic financial institutions.
Shotaro holds a bachelor’s degree from International Christian University.
