James Ankerson

Managing Director, Head of Global Consultants

James is responsible for global consultant relationships as well as insurance clients in the UK, Ireland and Bermuda within the Business Development team.

He joined Pemberton in 2016. Prior to that he spent six years at Lloyds Banking Group in Wholesale Markets with responsibility for illiquid credit assets, and latterly as part of the cross-asset solutions team focused on UK institutional investors.

James has 20 years’ experience in credit markets. He started his career in 2004 at RBS in Illiquid and Structured Credit Trading, specialising in illiquid credit investments across bonds, loans and derivatives.

James holds a BA in Philosophy from University College London.
