Bethany Walker

Managing Director, Head Counsel - Execution

Bethany is Head Counsel – Execution at Pemberton, responsible for legal structuring and transaction execution in respect of Pemberton’s investments.

Prior to joining Pemberton in 2017, she spent nearly five years as Legal Counsel (Execution & Workouts) at Hayfin Capital Management, an alternative credit asset manager. There she provided legal advice and transaction execution support across the spectrum of direct lending and special situations strategies in the UK, Europe and the US.

Bethany has 15 years’ experience as a UK-qualified lawyer, working both in private practice law firms and asset management. Before Hayfin she worked from 2011 to 2013 for Macfarlanes LLP as a solicitor in the Banking & Finance team. She began her career at DLA Piper UK LLP.

Bethany is a graduate of the University of Oxford with an MA in Jurisprudence.
