Pemberton strengthens team with four new hires
Overview
Pemberton, a leading alternative credit specialist, today announces that it has appointed four new senior hires across its offices, adding to what is already one of Europe’s largest team of credit professionals.
Anders Svenningsen joins as Managing Director and Head of Business Development for the Nordics in Copenhagen, where he will be responsible for Pemberton’s Nordic Franchise and investors. Anders brings over 25 years’ experience in finance. Prior to joining Pemberton, Anders was Head of Nordic & Dutch Markets at Citigroup, responsible for the client franchise in the region across all markets business and products.
Christoph Polomsky will be based in the Frankfurt office and will serve as Managing Director in the Business Development Team for the DACH region. He will be responsible for the coverage of institutional clients in the region. Christoph has over 20 years‘ experience in structured products. He joins from Nomura, where he was a Managing Director, leading the Solutions Team in Frankfurt. At Nomura, he worked on bespoke investment solutions, as well as the origination, structuring and distribution of financing and securitisation solutions for reverse mortgages, SME portfolios, leases and renewables projects.
James Taylor, based in London, joins as Head of Investor Relations (IR) to be responsible for investor communications, reporting and onboarding across Pemberton’s strategies. James has over 10 years’ experience in Investor Relations, holding senior roles at Securis Investment Partners LLP (2018 – 2022) where he developed its IR function, Spinnaker Capital Group (2016 – 2018) and Brevan Howard Asset Management (2012 – 2016).
Finally, Sally Tankard joins Pemberton’s CLO team, after it was announced that Rob Reynolds had been appointed to lead the strategy* in March 2022. Sally will serve as a Director, responsible for analysis and selection of leveraged finance assets for Pemberton’s CLOs. She has over 30 years’ experience in leveraged finance, credit analysis and corporate lending. Prior to joining Pemberton, Sally was a consultant at Hornblower Business Brokers working on M&A and business valuations, and a Senior Analyst at Spire Partners LLP.
