What is SFDR?
The Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) is an EU regulation that increases transparency on how financial firms integrate sustainability risks and ESG factors into their investments. It classifies financial products into Article 6 (no ESG focus), Article 8 (“light green” promoting ESG characteristics), and Article 9 (“dark green” with a sustainability objective). SFDR aims to prevent greenwashing and help investors make informed sustainable investment choices.
