As the private credit market continues to expand, it is becoming increasingly attractive to a range of companies – including those that would historically have sought funding from public markets.
Private credit funds have seen strong growth in the years since the global financial crisis according to a Preqin report. Assets under management in private debt reached a record US$812 billion as of June 2019.
